Yes; WHU v Sunderland, 1-0, March 2015. Loved it. Couldn't believe how shit East London was, the walk from the tube station, visit to the pubetc etc.
Huffers promised a signed photo of the first WHU goalscorer, and about 1 month later a signed photo of Diaffa Sulkho arrived.
Great day. Been a committed Hammer ever since.

Well nothing came my way - maybe I should have shouted loader. Flown in from NZ and my great great great Uncle was first Secretary of TIW football club (see Wikipedia). - Ive got a ticket for the game but no special help - was not expecting to. Would not have minded an invite to the cronies do last week - you know the old and new . Seems I can't 'dine out' on an old association with the club - sad days. Hope the WH Top Brass are reading this?

The Head of Stadium Sales told me about a bloke who flies from Sacramento in CA. to watch every home game. That's a 12hour flight, so my 7 hours is hardly worth breaking a sweat for.

My lad and I have had a tough few years. WHU has helped us out of a hole (we don't miss a game, even if it's only on the TV) so flying overnight to watch a game is easy. At least we're staying for 10 days this time.
Last year, for the 1-0 win over Sunderland we arrived Friday morning and left on Sunday morning. Packing didn't take very long.
